INSPECTION AND TESTING

All electrical systems be they Domestic, Commercial or Industrial need to be inspected and testing prior to operation. Aaran Electrical Services is able to provide a variety of inspection services from initial inspection to annual system inspections. We are also able to provide Portable Appliance Testing and specific testing of individual circuits or parts of buildings.

Testing Process

• Physical System inspection

                - Condition of all enclosures, distribution boards and consumer units

                - Electrical connections

                - Routing of cables

                - Presence of fire barriers

                - Methods of protection against electric shock

                - Cable suitability for load placed on the system

                - Protection against physical damage

• Earth system check both physical and by test instruments
• Polarity check for entire system

• Phase rotation

• Insulation test
• RCD test
• Circuit breaker inspection and physical test
• Functional tests of all circuits

A full report is provide for both new installs and periodic inspections

All the work carried out by Aaran electrical Service complies to the IEE 17th Edition Wiring regulation  - BS 7671.
